A Poem for Tigerlily
We don't know what it is, perhaps superstition
We cling to these things, they become a tradition.
Each year on your birthday, we celebrate right
With nice food, and nice drink, and a poem that we write.
And each year, sometime later, we take you one night-
We go to a bookstore, and we go get a bite.
And because we are bound by this lovely tradition
Dine with us! Shop with us!
